This place rocks!! Very friendly, helpful staff. Really amazing deals with 100% real solid wood furniture. Check it out. They don't deliver but they will set you up with someone who can. Or...we rented a truck at Home Depot and they graciously helped us load it into the truck.

What a great furniture store! My husband and I hate paying a lot for low quality furniture and we're so glad we found Nadeau. Their prices are much less expensive than Target for much better quality. In the past few months, we've bought a bed frame and a bookcase and couldn't be happier with them.
Most of their goods seem to be from India, Indonesia, and China. It's in a warehouse so sometimes you have to dig and move pieces to see everything but it is worth it. If you join their mailing list, they'll send you an email every time they get in a new shipment. Good to know so you can get first dibs!

As someone who enjoys "worldcraft furniture", I loved just about everything in the store. The prices are great and the people there willing to help with any questions. I will definitely go back for good accent pieces to use throughout my house.

This store is really lovely. It's a little off the beaten path, but definitely worth it. Don't expect the pieces to be displayed beautifully or even all that neatly. There will be little tables stacked on top of big tables and so on. I wish I knew the man's name who was helping us -- anyway, he was just as fabulous as all of the furniture. Super friendly. The prices are low, and the quality is high. Whether you're looking for a set of leopard-print dining room chairs or a simple, solid table... this is your place. Thank you, Nadeau!

Once again Keith has blown me away at Nadeau!
Customer service is amazing and the staff is always so, so helpful. I am planning on redoing our house in the next year, so I imagine my Credit card is gonna get a work out there!
Check this place out if you want 100% real wood furniture, unique pieces and very, very reasonable prices!!! Just don't buy the beautiful French Wardrobe I have my eye on there. That is for me!

Love, LOVE, LOVEEEEEEEEE this place. I am getting a lot of things for my new spa there and I am always blown away at the uniqueness of each piece! And I love the fact that its 100% wood!
There is nothing modern about it, but each piece is so unique that it's always a conversation piece.

Cool stuff, unbelievable prices. I've seen similar pieces for sale in Hawaii for two to three times more than what they're asking. Parking is kind of a bitch...but then again where isn't it. Not somewhere you should go if you're a fan of furniture that only takes one person to lift.

Went to Nadeau with my wife last week based on reviews I saw on Yelp. Huge warehouse, with stacked, easy to see solid wood furniture. We bought a narrow bookcase made from mahogany for $140, looks great in my small den. I think this place is a secret of sorts, and want to share with the world that there are alternatives to the big box furniture stores. Also, very few things from China, most everything is from Indonesia, or India. Beautiful pieces, at extremely reasonable prices. I'll be back for a dining room table, it looks like they have the best deals in town, the ones I saw were about $300-400, and solid wood.
Go check it out, it's worth your time.

Nadeau Furniture is no Goodwill, so don't go expecting to find pieces for under $50. Some reviewers may consider their prices dirt cheap, but I imagine many people would not. The furniture is only inexpensive relative to its fine quality.
All the furniture is brand new, made of solid wood, imported from southeast Asia, and generally of excellent quality. Comparable pieces from Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel will cost you more than twice as much. Cost Plus furniture of similar quality is still about 1.5 times the price.
I've been in search of a large storage trunk/bench for several months, and today my search ended just 20 minutes after stepping into the Nadeau warehouse. Before that I tried Craigslist, Target, Walmart, Pier 1, Cost Plus, Costco, Marshalls, and a couple family businesses. Although Pier 1 and Cost Plus had some decent-looking trunks, for $120-$200 they were too small, made of poor materials, and couldn't have supported frequent sitting. My new trunk is 3'8" long, made of solid mahogany, and cost $230 after tax. A decent chunk of change, but by far the best deal I could find.

I just stopped in to Nadeau based on the Yelp comments and it's everything positive that everyone has offered. I kept thinking how I could use pieces throughout my home. I asked about delivery, and Frank offered to give me a name of someone who would load up and bring to me for a fee. I am very excited to go back!

This place is such a great find. Thanks to a friend of mine for the recommendation and thanks to yelp for confirming the amazing-ness of this furniture store!
I have been aching to buy a night stand for well...probably over a year now. I know, I know. Anyway, I saw one at Crate and Barrel that I liked and at that point, I was willing to pay $200 bucks for ANYTHING, regardless of price. But then I found out about Nadeau and I figured I'd look here before giving in to overpriced stores like Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn.
And well, I found this piece right away and knew instantly it would be perfect next to my bed. LESS than $100 and it fit perfectly in the back seat of my car! Already assembled and ready to plop right down. My friend Courtney also found a bookshelf that she loved and that matches wonderfully with her table and chairs. Her item was just a little over $100 but no need to fumble with confusing directions from a Target box which to me is worth paying the difference. And I'm sure this bookshelf is much better quality.
The staff is extremely friendly. They get new shipments every week or so and they import furniture from India, China and well, not sure what other countries but needless to say, these are unique pieces for unbelievably cheap prices!
I am so happy I found this place. I plan on stopping here first for any other furniture needs. I hate to let the secret out but honestly, it would be selfish of me not to share this amazing find with my fellow yelpers.
Happy shopping!

Went to this place based on the reviews here on yelp, I was not disappointed! Impressive solid wood mahogany and sheesham furniture at fantastic prices, better even then at El Paso Import, I'm going to be buying a number of pieces. Keith, who I believe was the manager, let us browse the store for half an hour even though we got their a minute before closing. GREAT find, I highly recommend it.

Furniture lovers' dream. Antique and modern styles, but not much in mid-century modern. We are furnishing our new place and happened upon Nadeau Imports. It's amazing -- about 70% cheaper than the usual C&B, Room and Board, etc., and the furniture is better quality. Really heavy, beautiful woods, well-built solid construction. Go there for wood furniture, they haven't got much else. But we found a gorgeous coffee table and two complimenting book cases for a total of $500. A coffee table alone at Crate & Barrel runs about $500, and I suspect it wouldn't last nearly as long -- you can tell the stuff at Nadeau Imports will last a lifetime.

This place is awesome! It's a wholesale furniture place, which equals solid/high quality furniture at affordable prices and the owner/staff are really nice and helpful. From what I noticed, they really only have wood pieces (tables, media cabinets, dressers, chairs, etc.), no sofas or mattresses. This wasn't a problem for me though, I went looking for some kitchen/dining room furniture. I haven't purchased anything yet, but I will definitely be back. Their inventory changes constantly, which I love. The only problem I have is that if you find a piece you really like, you'd have to purchase it immediately or risk losing it to someone else.

Nadeau Imports of Chicago had exactly what we were looking for, and so much more. My boyfriend and I walked into the warehouse and found everything we would ever want for our home. Unfortunately, we can't purchase it all at once, but the selection was so vast, that whenever we go back we will find more. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the prices were unbelievable! You must check it out.

I guess the secret is already out. I have been intentionally avoiding reviewing Nadeau, my wholesale treasure, for some time now. I really felt it was one of my best kept super-steal shopping secrets but not anymore apparently... If we can all share and enough of the fantastic Oriental and Indonesian goods are still left over for me, then I won't complain (too much).
Nadeau is setup warehouse style... very bare bones in a large open space, it's discount shopping on all things wood... armoires, chests, dining room tables, chairs, hutches, day beds, patio furniture, dressers, you name it! Styles vary from basic to contemporary to statement pieces of the most ornate variety. The one thing that does not vary is the price; you'll go out of your mind when you see these price tags. I spent $260 on a gorgeous aqua-stained solid wood and glass 6ft high armoire and $70 on a shaker-style nightstand. The quality is phenomenal and you are acquiring something unique that you won't find in everyone elses Pottery Barn identi-condos.
The stock rotates constantly so get on their mailing list to be updated with photos on all the deals and steals that week. Keith is great and will be happy to keep his eye out for you if you're hunting for something specific... beware if you ask him where the $10 buddha heads are, he doesn't like to sell them on the weekends. Buy something worthwhile though and he might dig one out for you ; )

Yelp - Chicago
Good stuff. They've got a huge warehouse of high quality furniture, mostly wooden, almost all imported from Indonesia and India. After shopping at 10 different furniture stores around the city and suburbs, we finally found a TV stand that we liked here, at an unbeatable price - $300ish for solid mahogany. You can pay that much for fiberboard at Ikea or Crate & Barrel.
I wish that they provided delivery service, though. I had to schedule it with an outside guy who had fair prices but still, it's a slight hassle to call a 3rd party to get your furniture delivered. I'd think that the store could manage that themselves better and keep it invisible to the customer.
Overall, though, Nadeau is a treasure trove of interesting and useful furniture at great prices. We'll be coming back!

My husband and I stumbled upon this place while walking home. I am glad we did, this is a great furniture store. You need a little patience navigating through the mounds of furniture, but it's worth it. The prices are excellent and the service is friendly. I plan to go back and purchase a few pieces.

This place is great. My wife and I went there today and we were very impressed. They didn't have quite the piece we needed, so we left to check out some other stores. We ended up back at Nadeau before the day was even over. After shopping around at some of the other furniture stores in the city, we purchased two hardwood bar stools that easily would have been 25% - 30% more at other stores. I will definitely be returning in the future.
The pieces are almost all hardwoods and are very solidly constructed. They don't carry any cheap composite materials. It's a great place for dressers, bookcases, armoires, tables and the like. However, if you're looking for a traditional sofa or for mattresses, you'll probably have to check someplace else. Also, the designs are more traditional, so if you're a CB2 fan, this might not be up your alley. But for hardwood furniture, this place is great.

Unique furniture! The furniture here is made of real wood and available for reasonable prices that would accent any decor. These same pieces probably sell for 2 to 3 times the price in import high end stores. They offer delivery of larger pieces and also have a small collection of accessories.

I feel the same way about almost *not* wanting to share how great this place is for furniture. The pieces are unique, the prices are great, and the variety is everywhere. The manager is very friendly and helpful, and he believes in what he's selling. Although, the furniture is selling itself. I found a great dresser there, went back a week later to buy it, and it was gone. I will definitely be buying my next piece of furniture from this locale and will not hesitate for a week!

I almost don't want to tell you how great this place is, so there will be more for me! Located in the warehouse area by Lill Street Art Center. The furniture is actual wood and in some great styles, a little like World Market but more unique. Most was too over-sized for my small abode, but fun looking anyway. I ended up buying a teak and wright iron end table for $134, which I thought was quite reasonable for non-particle board items! And the owners (?) were super friendly. You can shop via craigslist too. They get shipments a couple of times a month, and I'll definitely be going back!

Nadeau is effing awesome! I kind of want to keep it a secret (seems like everyone is saying that). If you like something they have, you better snatch it up immediately.
Walking through their showroom/warehouse made me really want a much bigger place. Most of the furniture is wood and from what I understand, imported from Indonesia, India, and China. My only complaint was the large number of, um, large items. A lot of the pieces are huge, and my condo is not huge. But every piece we saw was gorgeous, and we never stopped being truly shocked at the low prices. I'll never go to Pottery Barn again.
I'm pretty sure you could open a boutique store in Lincoln Park, stock the place with the best of Nadeau, double the price of everything, and make a great living.

I was recommended to check the place out when I fell in love with a gorgeous bed frame that a stylist friend of mine had purchased.
I was in pursuit of a piece of furniture w/very odd dimensions that I hadn't been able to find at any other retailer. Keith, the manager, was incredibly helpful by directing me to a piece, moving other things out of the way & even took out his tape measurer. Now that is good service!!
Unfortunately, the piece didn't work out in the long run, but I will certainly be back again when I'm in the market for my next furniture purchase. The items are gorgeous and certainly different from the typical merchandise that you see in every other store...and at shockingly low prices!

Jackpot!
Run, don't walk to this furniture store. Unique furniture for ultra-cheap prices. Tons of little end tables and hutches. If I had a bigger place I would buy that....and that....and that......
I never would have come across this place if it weren't for Yelp....
Screw you Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn!

This place is awesome!!!! The furniture is unique and offered at an amazing pricepoint. If Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrell were to carry this stuff, it would definitely be 150 - 200% more expensive.
Parking was easy too. We were able to fit two of the smaller items in my little Honda, and get a dresser and desk delivered the next day for $80. Delivery guys were polite and punctual.
All in all, a great experience. If you're looking for new furniture, give Nadeau a try! (But don't tell anyone else, so the secret is kept!)

My husband and I had the opportunity of meeting you at the Nadeau store, while visiting my parents in Mt. Pleasant in early April. We were the couple from Atlanta. We had not planned on buying furniture while we were there, but I just feel in love. We purchased three pieces while there and are absolutely thrilled with it!! The furniture we purchased is so unique and have had several people comment on how beautiful the pieces are. We have referred them to the store in Mt. Pleasant. My husband and are still looking for some additional pieces for our home and remembered you mentioned a store/warehouse in the Atlanta area. We would love to be able to add to our Nadeau collection! If it is at all possible for us to get information about visiting the warehouse we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks again

YAY!!!!! They have opened a new store in east Marietta and it is soooooo nice! I loved going to the warehouse, but I got to admit, the organized store atmosphere with everything set up is nice as well. They also sent me a coupon for 20% off, so I cannot wait to use that on a big ticket item. I've always been eyeing this awesome carved sideboard from India, hopefully it will be there when I go this saturday! The same girls from the warehouse still run it, so I feel like I "know" them. In my other review I compared them to Pier One, but NEVERMIND!!! They make Pier One look like Walmart! But thier prices are still so low! I was surprised because I thought for sure they would raise the prices since they have that nice store, but NOPE!

Super-cool, one-of-a-kind furniture & accessories!!! Wholesale prices, open to the public every few months for only one Saturday! HUGE warehouse stocked with stuff...Similar to Pier One, but WAY better quality and more unique. Everything is from India and Indonesia. I got a tv shelf, bookcase, and coffee table for less than $500! All REAL wood!!! You have to call them to see when they will be open...the girls who run it, Julie and Jessica, will put you on thier invite list! Definitely worth checking out!!!

I agree with the other poster, this place is awesome. My wife and I found a few really cool pieces and if we had a bigger house we wouldve bought more. We always get compliment s on the stuff we got and everyone always wants to know where we got them. They also give out free donuts and coffee which is always a good thing. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes they have to much stuff packed in the warehouse, its hard to see and get around. I guess some people like that though. its definitely an adventure the first time around. I don't think they are having thier monthly sales anymore, but last time they said they were opening a regular store sometime this month. My wife is a little too excited about that. Not sure where but we'll be looking for our email.

Nadeau is great and the best deal in town for nice furniture! I just got a mailing about the new store being open and I am headed there today so I will let everyone know how it is. It sounds like it will be a little more organized than the warehouse and probably less crazy since it will be open to the public at all times. I have bought several large items from them and the quality is great! We just bought a house and I can't wait for another excuse for more furniture!
