How we create
value
For the last 15 years, Nadeau has been importing quality furniture from India, Indonesia, and China. Having our doors open to the public with several retail stores in our family of locations, we are now selling directly to our customers.
What makes Nadeau unique is that while we are transitioning into direct retail, we are continuing to sell our high quality items at true wholesale prices that equate to about a third of what one would pay at a high-end store where our furniture was previously sold. We are able to provide our pieces at these prices because of a variety of reasons, one being our long standing relationships with suppliers in the countries where our furniture originated. This translates to consistency and stable sourcing growth.
Our unique approach to payments is another key factor. At Nadeau, we work with our suppliers on good terms and do not use letters of credit, per norm in the industry. We also maintain low operating expenses and ship our containers directly to our locations, which coincides with our ability to provide a perpetually-changing mix of inventory, as opposed to through distribution centers. This allows for low shipping costs as well as a unique breadth of product that is greatly influenced by the individual market of any one of our locations.
